3. By Small and Simple Things

Do you struggle with perfectionism? Do you ever battle with overwhelm or the "all-or-nothing" mentality? Well in this episode we will be focusing on Progress, not Perfection. Perfectionism tends to set us back, and we procrastinate. It limits our ability to move forward and accomplish our goals.

Have you ever gone into overwhelm with so much you wanted to do but you felt paralyzed and didn’t know where to start? This is easy to do. Overwhelm is a disempowering emotion, and it is never useful! The opposite of overwhelm is to constrain yourself, simplify and chunk it down into small, doable, and actionable steps.

In this episode, I'll be sharing the spiritual lesson I learned recently by seeing 6, yes 6 different sea turtles, within a matter of several days on a recent trip. When something repeatedly shows up in my life, I know it's time to listen! The message I took from those sea turtles was to be persistent, consistent, and slow down my pace so I can go through life with ease. Remember the story of the tortoise and the hare? Slow and steady wins the race!!
